So this blog is brought to you courtesy of fb. I refuse to update my status more than twice a week, but I have things I want to say out loud, so I thought hey, you have that blog you never post to, so here we are.
Because I am really really really broke, I have become a tea drinking idiot. I mean I was always a committed tea drinker, that's why I have thousands of tea bags on hand, but my limited (read no) funds have forced me to lay off the wild cherry diet Pepsi and drink up this tea. Of course drinking so much tea causes me to think of my time in the UK.
This time last year, I was in Stratford-upon-Avon, looking forward to the Edinburgh Fringe. I can't wait to get back there. Of course there is always some drama on the trip, you can't travel in a group of 15 and expect it to be all roses, but I am so in love with London and Stratford, and I am so happy there. The theatre I see across the pond motivates me for years, inspires me, and makes a permanent imprint. So if I have my way, next year at this time I'll be there again. Now of course in this moment that path isn't clear. How I'm going to raise the money is a mystery. How I am going to produce a show for the Fringe also unknown. What I do know is that to refuel, I've got to spend August away.
Especially since I am now official running low on my Scottish black blend from the Tesco.
So here is to big plans, big goals, and big dreams.
