In the wee hours of the morning (thanks to my new sleep schedule, ugh) I made a firm resolution to move in the direction of my dreams. It is a scary place for me. I have always talked big, but I always had a safety net. I have quite literally been in school for 30 years, and now school is done. I got the terminal degree and I don't see another one in my future anytime soon. So now all the protection and insulation I had are gone. I have to walk the walk.
I'm not quite sure how I am going to make a living as a director, but I'll start one gig at a time. I'll focus on creative sustainability. This pictured greeted me on my fb timeline this morning (well afternoon) and mock if you'd like, but I think it's a sign. The universe is saying to me, "yes gurl!" So for today I feel empowered and on the right track.
